Enjoying some shade (oil painting)

This is a concept I created as an exercise to study color and spatula technique in oil painting. This is the kind of painting that is meant to be seen from afar, and as you get closer and closer, you can see the shape of the paint on the canvas, as drawn by the spatula. The mushroom is just enjoying some shade.
